The 8S 2A Active Balancer by NEEY is an advanced active balancing module suitable for 8S lithium battery packs, including Li-ion (NMC/NCA) and LiFePO₄ (LFP) chemistries. Unlike passive balancers that dissipate excess energy as heat, this active balancer transfers energy from higher-voltage cells to lower-voltage cells, resulting in faster balancing, reduced heat generation, and improved overall efficiency.
With a 2A balancing current, it quickly equalizes cell voltages during charging, discharging, or standby conditions. This significantly enhances battery pack safety, usable capacity, and cycle life. The compact design and balance-wire connection make it ideal for solar ESS systems, EV battery packs, inverters, UPS systems, telecom power, and DIY battery assemblies.
