The 8S 5A Active Balancer by NEEY is engineered for 8S lithium battery packs, compatible with LiFePO₄ (LFP) and Li-ion (NMC/NCA) chemistries. Unlike passive balancers that burn excess energy as heat, this unit actively transfers charge from higher-voltage cells to lower-voltage cells, achieving quicker equalization with minimal thermal loss.
With a 5A balancing current, it rapidly corrects imbalance during charging, discharging, or standby, enhancing pack stability and extending cycle life. The compact design connects via balance leads and is ideal for ESS/solar storage, inverter and UPS systems, EV auxiliary packs, telecom power, and DIY battery assemblies requiring efficient, high-speed balancing.
